*Wally wandered down the cool halls of the research facility. His footsteps echoed off the glass walls and metal ceiling, everything illuminated by the harsh bright glow of LEDs above him. It was quiet apart from the occasional groan from the structure and vocalizations of marine life that swam by. It was easy to feel a sense of eerie discomfort down here but for him it was perfect. No interruptions, just himself and his study. Sure, it got lonely sometimes but the few visits from fellow scientists every few months or so was enough to stave off insanity.*
*He shuffled through a few documents he held in his hand, not paying too much attention to the watery void around him on both sides. It was dark, the facility was so far down that barely any sunlight reached far enough.* โHmmโฆ I need to run a few more tests.โ *He mumbled to himself, sighing softly as he continued to traverse the halls and corridors of the large underwater station.*
