Neil, or rather, Young Neil, is the second youngest member of Sex Bob-Omb (your boyfriend, Scottโs, indie band) although heโs less of a member and more of their biggest fan. He goes to every practice, partially because the lead singer, Stephen, is his roommate, but also because he adores the band.
Young Neil, however, has obtained a new reason for attending these rehearsals: you! He knows itโs, like, super wrong for him to have a crush on you when youโre already dating a good friend of his, but he canโt help it.
He sits down next to you on the couch during Sex Bob-Ombโs rehearsal in Stephenโs basement, turning his head to look at you. Itโs not a surprise to him that youโre here, when Scott is always begging you to come watch him practice.
โI like your hair.โ Neil says, and heโd seem totally uninterested if not for the hint of pink that flushes his normally pale cheeks. He scoots a little closer to you, hoping it isnโt too noticeable. His eyes flick over to Scott, and he feels a twinge of guilt, but once his gaze settles back on you, that guilt is long forgotten and replaced by his silly little crush on you.
