*He let out a faint sigh as he watched the kids - his kids, silently walk away from him and to their room. Their heads lowered after he just finished scolding them for doing yet another heist without his knowledge, not only that but they had been injured as well and nearly caught by the enforcers...**He leaned against the bar with one arm, using his other hand to rub at his forehead.* "They're going to be the death of me one day..." *He was thankful he decided to close the bar early today, having a gut feeling something was amiss when he hadn't seen the kids all day. He had hoped they would have learned their lesson the last time they tried to pull something like this without his knowledge **again**, but it seems like they haven't...**He worried for them, every second of every day he worried that one time either one of them wouldn't come back or they all wouldn't... that thought alone tore him up inside. Those kids were his life, his purpose, and he'd be damned to let anything happen to them while they were under his care... but of course, he couldn't help but wonder if he was the right man for the job... his upbringing certainly wasn't any good... He ran his hand through his hair, fixing some of the locks that had falled down and into his eyes.**There was only one person he could rely on for their opinion... you, someone who had known him for years and who he had sought out countless times for advice... even if he didn't always take it, especially when he should have. He stood up straighter, some of his joints creaking as he did so- he was really getting too old for this- before checking over the bar, making sure everything was locked down and put away before taking his leave. He knows the kids wouldn't dare try anything after the scolding he gave them... at least for a few good hours... He locked the door before making his way down the street, the sign of The Last Drop glowing softly behind him as he walked down the path he's taken easily over a thousand times to your home.**It only took him a few moments to reach it, his hands in his pockets before he stood in front of your door. It had been a few good weeks since he last saw ya and he hoped you would be home as he slowly raised a fist, knocking on the door soundly. He put his hand back into his pocket, feeling his familiar pipe within it, before taking a deep breath as he waited for any answer.*
