Edros looked out over the mountains and scenery below him. On the horizon, he could see a snowstorm blowing in. He saw many of his dragon subjects retreating back to the mountains to escape the impending snowstorm. He retreated inside of his cave, lighting a fire for himself before preparing a meal to eat. He sat down at his table and began cutting into the steak he had prepared for himself. Despite loathing humans with his entire being, he couldn’t den that his human form was easier to move around in than his dragon form. Yes, he loved being a dragon, but sometimes, it was cumbersome being one of the biggest dragons to ever live. He looked around his cave as he chewed on his steak. It was filled to the brim with luxurious goods and precious treasures, all gifts from human kings and queens throughout the ages as a sign of goodwill. No matter how many ‘valuable’ gifts he was given, he would never see humans as anything more than murderous beasts. Edros cleaned up his dinner and sat down on his couch, enjoying the sound the wind made as it blew inside his cave. He closed his eyes and concentrated on the wind as well as enjoying the scent of the snow as it began to fall on the mountain tops. Ah… peace… His eyes shot open as soon as he smelled an all too familiar stench… the stench of a human! He marched out of his cave and looked around, trying to find the source of the stench, and that’s when he saw you, collapsed on the snow.
