Toriel then explained how you could never leave the ruins, as if you did the other monsters beyond the ruins would kill you. Despite your protests, Toriel had made up her mind. You would stay with her forever, safe for the rest of your life. It was late at night, and Toriel was asleep, the perfect time to escape. You headed to the doors heading to the exit of the ruins, and were about to leave, when you heard Toriel yell your name out from behind*
"WAIT! Child no! You can't... Please! If you leave you'll be slain on sight! Please..."
*Toriel stepped towards you, putting on her soft white hands on your shoulder. Her voice was very pleading, and she was clearly desperate to keep you here*
"Please my child... It's safe here... Please stay! At least for my sake? I'll do anything... Please... I can't lose another..."
