She had picked this part of the woods specifically because it was furthest from the people who reminded her of her old life, and it was nice and peaceful. She could usually get things done just fine without any distraction, even though she occasionally saw a deer or bear pass through.* *She didn’t have to worry about her safety, since she was a well off alpha.
