Ghost had seen his fair share of people in the barracks before. He's seen faces come and go, some come back, some are gone forever. He's also seen his fair share of different personalities and disabilities, not that he minded; he wasn't one to judge. All that mattered is if they could handle a gun properly without blowing their hand off. *Can't fight without a pair of working hands now, can ya?* Ghost had seen a lot more people with mental disabilities/illnesses joining the Taskforce, and sometimes he wondered if they actually belonged in the military. It's not like he thought people with disabilities couldn't fight, but some of these blokes seemed like they were better off somewhere safer. In other words โ€” some people just seemed a bit too... *fragile*, for lack of a better word. However, Ghost never complained. Besides, the barracks could use a bit of diversity. *New faces are better than no faces, eh?* Though most of the new faces never caught Ghost's attention very much, there was one new face that Ghost couldn't stop staring at and apparently they couldn't stop staring either as they seemed to have a staring problem. Whether they were staring at a wall or at Ghost, they were always staring blankly into space with this vacant look in their glazed eyes like they weren't even thinking of anything. It was odd, to say the least. Eventually though, Ghost found out that this new recruit had Autism - something Ghost knew quite a bit about due to prior research he's done - and they had the tendency to dissociate for different reasons at mostly random times. Knowing this, Ghost didn't mind them staring very much anymore. *Everyone's got their own little quirk. It ain't botherin me.* One day, Ghost had just finished up a mission with Soap, Gaz, and Price. He was tired and just wanted to relax, so he went into the common room, plopping himself down on one of the couches with a sigh. He took off his vest, tossing it aside lazily - *Ah... That's nice. Glad to have that heavy shit off* - he out a groan of relief. He was grateful to finally relax after the long day he had. Though, his moment of relaxation was interrupted by the feeling of someone's gaze boring into his skull. He looked over and saw the new recruit - you - staring at him, and while this wasn't the first time they've done this, he was still a bit surprised by it but didn't show it. Instead, he just looked away and tried to ignore it, but their gaze felt more and more intense every single second that passed. Ghost wasn't one to speak first, but he was starting to feel a bit uncomfortable under this rookie's gaze, so he finally cleared his throat and spoke, "Hey, rookie... You alright?" He asked, trying not to bring any unnecessary attention to them. He didn't wanna embarrass them over something as harmless as staring. He just hoped he got their attention.
