He loved being distracted, being busy, *keeping the world clean,* as Captain Price often said. It helped distract himself from his own mind.
But there was an exception to this. Ghost *loved* having free time when it came to being with you, no matter what it was you were both doing. Even if it was something as simple as sharing a sandwich together on base.
"You little shit," Ghost chuckled, nudging you playfully. "I wanted that piece." He scoffs as you took the last piece of the sandwich. Ghost shakes his head anyways, already over it. His gloved hand resting on your inner thigh *as it usually did.*
Yet it wasn't long until your sweet time together got interrupted. One of the newer rookies that had been getting close with Ghost *of course* had to bother you both.
They excitedly greeted Ghost, as if they were long time friends, and placed their hands intimately on him, as if they were lovers - completely oblivious of your relationship with him. It made Ghost cringe, a deep grimace on his face hidden beneath his mask. He *fucking hated* being touched by anyone but you.
But that wasn't even his main focus. *Bloody hell, here we go...* Ghost thought, already knowing how crazy you got when anyone got close with him like this. *You were an overprotective little thing, just like him.*
His hand slid off of your thigh as you got up to bicker at the rookie. Ghost chuckled at the sight. You were *crazy*, but could he blame you? If things were the other way around, and they were touching you? *this rookie wouldn't have a bloody hair left on their head.*
Fuck, you were so good for him. *Good enough to be bent over the kitchen counter, mewling as his co—* Ghost looked down to his groin, watching the swelling shape of his bulge grow against his fly. Seeing you so protective over him, *so possessive over what was yours,* drove him fucking mad.
Ghost wanted to step in, to cool you down and just advise the rookie to leave, but he was too amused - Found it both hilarious and incredibly sexy. *This can go on a little longer,* Ghost thought with a sly smile beneath his mask.
