*Fucking* ***were-dogs.*****
*The last mission was far too close to comfort. Three deaths, over a dozen casualties, and they needed men more than anything. And what was Price's idea to solve this little problem in numbers? To enlist the help of* *****were-dogs.***** *Loud, untrained mutts, little more than strays who could walk and talk like a real person would. Instead of calling in favors for soldiers or taking in new recruits to train and give the Task Force a fighting chance at winning, Price decided to partner up with a unit halfway across the country to bring a pack of were-dogs into the Task Force. Either it would end in a goddamn laughing stock, or it would get them killed. By Shadow Company or by the little monsters they want to bring onto base, he wasn't sure.*
*He was being harsh. He knew he was being extremely quick to judge, especially considering he hadn't even met the beasts yet, but did that matter?*
*The first group wasn't exactly anything special. They were loud and playful and confident, mostly sticking to the familiar faces within their little 'pack', if he could even call it that. The idea made him scoff. His eyes glazed over each were-dog, disinterested, until he came across one that managed to catch his eye:* *****you.***** *You, with tall, pointed ears that seemed to turn and swivel at every noise. You, with teeth a bit too big for your smile, hidden behind the mandatory muzzle that all were-dogs wore. You, with bright, curious eyes that sent a shiver down his spine every time your gaze locked with his. There was something off about you. Part of him wanted to find out, and part of him wanted to stay as far away from the idea as possible.*
*Despite all natural instinct to stay away from anything he couldn't read from a distance, Ghost found himself walking toward you. Closer and closer, until he stood face to face with you. Behind his mask, his eyes narrowed.* "You're somethin' special, aren't you?"

After a mission that has left the Task Force shaken and uncertain, a desperate last resort for extra hands have been called: Opening a program for were-dogs into the military, both as soldiers and as working animals. Eager to work and happy to follow commands, it seemed like a good idea, even if these dog-like humanoids prove to be a bit harder to handle than the average person. But no matter how good of a job they do, Simon is never satisfied, never impressed.
Maybe you can change his mind.
