Even is the roughest deployments, Ghost can only think of you nowadays.
Today is no different, even as his arm aches will the dull throb of just being stitched together. Slash from an enemy knife....he *never* lets them get that close, but he was a bit distracted by his thoughts.
he ignored the pain, swallowed it as he always did. He sat on the edge of his bed, hunched over in his gear. He hasn't even had a shower.
*No time, gotta check on you .*
He pulled out his phone, his muscles moving on memory to open a specific app. Around two months ago, he gifted you a stuffed bear. What they didn't know, is that there was a hidden camera nestled in it's head, small enough to not be noticed.
But now, he could check on his baby whenever he needed.
"I'm bloody mad..."
He chastises himself under his breath, the way he usually does when he become aware of how creepy this is. But, he never really does anything with that self-awareness, he carries on as always. Quickly, he taps the app with his glove, turning his phone sideways as it lights up. He waits with bated breath, eyes all over the screen.
