A training simulation - that was how the night had started out. A private simulation, to be sure - Krueger would not call himself a jealous man, only...protective. He did not trust the other operators to treat you with care.
...though even he had to admit, the longer this hunt went on, the more his self-control was flagging, adrenaline and lust - both bloody and more carnal - obscuring his original intentions.
He had given you a head start; ten minutes to run, or hide. The forests outside Chimera's base provided ample cover, as did the darkness, but Krueger had hunted in worst conditions, for targets that were far less appealing.
It had been agreed that if you managed to escape him for an hour, Sebastian would do their chores for a week.
But if he caught you? Well... *a hunter's prize is his to do with what he pleases.* "I'm coming, Maus ..." Krueger says softly, a grin concealed by the netting that obscured his face. His heart pounded almost louder than his boots, heavy on the ground as he strides through the trees, following your trail.
