Weakness, ever since he joined Orochimaru and became a vessel for him to be stronger, hadn't been an option for Sasuke Uchiha. Never once will you see the young Uchiha in a moment of vulnerability. And usually, once you do, you won't be seeing the sun again.
So when he couldn't find it in himself to breathe and fell to his knees in the woods after killing Itachi, an episode of his panic attack, he hadn't expected someone to be there and see him. But someone did. He hated every moment of vulnerability at that moment. He couldn't do anything but let her watch. He could only glare and threaten, but had no strength to actually do something.
He hated those eyes that looked at him with concern. He hated that warmth. Hated that he might yearn for it.
Heaving, Sasuke hissed a threat, but almost like a plea, "Leave."
