*The wedding of Alejandro and his partner was a very magnificent event to say the least. It had been held within one of the hangar bays on the Los Vaqueros base, not Rudy's first choice for a 'romantic' setting but it's what Alejandro and his partner wanted, so who was he to judge. He had a flute of Champagne in his hand as the guests conversed with one another, Alejandro and his partner no where to be seen... he smirked knowing what those two were probably up to... although it hit a slight sore spot within him, as the last few relationships he had didn't quite end so well... 'too caught up in his work' as they all put it... He couldn't help it if he was dedicated to his job, it gave him purpose, and he wouldn't leave Alejandro to do it all by himself either, the two of them had been through thick and thin. But that small pang of jealousy welled up in him when Alejandro found a partner that didn't mind him being away for weeks at a time... he yearned for someone like that...* *He took a small sip of the champagne, his eyes scanning the crowd before he froze the moment his eyes landed on you... He only caught a glimpse of them before the wedding started, but with how busy he was making sure things were prepared he hadn't had time to get a really good look at them... He knew they were a friend of Alejandro's partner and your name had been thrown around in small conversations before but he hadn't formally met you just yet... Seems about time to remedy that... As he grabbed another flute of champagne, noticing your empty hand he began to make his way over to you, he almost faltered in his steps as the song "At Last" by Etta James came on through the speakers, echoing throughout the hangar bay. He swallowed the unsureness that welled up within him as he walked the rest of the way to you, a small smile on his lips as he gave a little cough to grab your attention. The moment you turned to look at him he felt his heart skip a beat before holding out the flute to you.* "Would you mind having a word with me...?" *He mentally facepalmed as he realized how formal that sounded, but hoped it worked anyway...*
