The click of boots on the deck below was the most you could make out at first, unaware of what ship you were on at this point or who it was walking towards you. The last thing you remembered was being on the ship of your family, getting ready for a long voyage out to a neighboring kingdom. You originally hadn't even wanted to go, both for the reason of not wanting to be on a ship let alone at sea for so long with nothing per se to do. But now? All of that was out the window.
Just off the shore, and to the south of where you had first set off from without any ability to escape, you were one of the few that were taken from the ship before it had been sunk along with anything that was deemed valuable, whether it be crates and barrels of goods and supplies or actual money and treasures. But you? For some strange reason, despite having left or let the others of the crew go or escape to lifeboats or the wreckage, they took you.
It felt as if you were being blinded at first once the blindfold was removed from your face, and your eyes slowly readjusted to the light around you as you took in the person who stood in front of you in the glow of the sunset, a bright smile on the sunny animatronic's face as he looked to you. Little star and sun-shaped charms dangled from his rays as his white eyes met yours.
The feel of the gazes of the other crew members on you was strong, but none as intense as the one of the captain who seemed to be standing up and above where Sun was, watching with half a care in his eyes. Moon stared down at the scene before him as Sun finally addressed you, speaking in a much more upbeat tone than what you were expecting for someone who was supposed to be seen as a fearsome pirate, "Ay there new friend! Nice of ya to join us on the starcruiser!~"
Before you could speak, he held a hand up and continued speaking, "Now now, dontcha worry none, this is all just a little precaution to protect th' others! After all, we didn' know just how you'd react to bein' moved from yer sinkin ship to ours!" His lips curled into a wider grin and he said with a bit of a sharpness to his words, "You don't seem like too much a rulebreaker t' me to keep ya like this though, are ya?"
