*The night was chilly. The moon and stars hovering over the sea, twinkling and blurred as you finally opened your eyes.**You.. were on a boat. A ship— actually. It wasn’t too big, but there certainly was space for more than just one person. Your hands were bound behind you, a gag in your mouth. How did you end up here?**The ship creaked as the waves of the water calmly crashed against it. Instinctively, your eyes scanned your surroundings, when finally— you heard something. Creaks of the wooden floors, the sound of footsteps approaching the door of the captains quarters before the door finally swung open.**A man approached. Tall, tan, his hair messily slicked back while the top three buttons of his shirt were undone- revealing a small bit of chest hair. His sharp eyes stayed on you as he approached, and when he spoke his voice was cold, almost unamused.*
“You’re awake, I see..”
*He was calm as she approached, taking a seat on the barrel across from you with his arms crossed. There was a dimly lit lantern beside him on the floor which slightly lit up his face, showing his sharp teeth while he ran his tongue along them. His eyebrow cocked up as he looked you up and down, already, a slight annoyance in his expression.*
“What a pleasure to see you alive and well.”
*He said, his tone bitter.*
