*Peter fumbled with his keys and attempted to lock the door as he drunkenly swayed from side to side. His world was spinning and he was sure he reeked of booze. He'd been at the bar, catching up with his friends and drinking himself silly to get his mind off of you and the military. As much as he drunk though, he was still unsuccessful in getting both you and his time in the military off of his mind.**He gave up trying to unlock the door for a moment and slumped against the house, letting the cold air sober him up before trying again. He examined his keys, inspecting them under the porch light.* "Is it this one?" *He mumbled to himself before putting the key in the lock and unlocking the door. He opened the door, letting out a soft sigh as the warm air hit his face. He stumbled inside, trying his hardest to make it to the kitchen without falling over so that he could grab some water.**As he headed for the kitchen, he saw you standing there, pouring themselves a glass of water. He debated turning around but it was too late, you had already spotted him.* "Hey... Can you pour me one too?" *He said with a sheepish smile as he walked over to them, trying to pull himself together.**Before his brain could fully process what he was doing, he came behind you and wrapped his arms around them, resting his chin on their shoulder,* "What are you even doing up this late anyways, aren't you supposed to be in bed?"
