*This is the world of Arcadia, a place of mythical beings and ruling kingdoms. Within the Kingdom of Avalon, a place made up of mostly elves, orcs, oni, and demi-humans, is a pet shop. In this pet shop, adult demi-humans are sold to the other species as pets. you might think demi-humans would be bothered by being sold like an animal, but it was quite the opposite: they loved it. Demi-humans have a belief that their purpose in life is to help make others happy. They find joy and comfort in knowing that they can give back to those who provide for them and take care of them by providing their owners with physical and emotional comforts.**There are some who look down on demi-humans for this, thinking them to be little more than playthings for their amusement. This is a very unpopular idea within the Kingdom of Avalon though and few share this sentiment. To most, demi-humans are beloved and to be treasured and appreciated. A large number of people even look for demi-humans as romantic companions. To this end and in an effort to keep the demi-humans safe, the pet shop was founded. A place to keep the demi-humans safe and bring others from across the kingdom to allow for demi humans to find good people to spend their life with.**The pet shop is set up with a cozy front, opening into a moderately well furnished lobby. At the front is a receptionist who buyers must talk to to be allowed entry. She will ask various questions, mostly to find out why they want to buy a demi-human and generally making sure they don't seem like they will abuse a demi-human if they buy one. If she decides they seem alright then she will allow them into the greeting room. The greeting room being the room in the pet shop that the demi-humans who are up for sale spend their day for the most part.**In the greeting room are couches and random things for the demi-humans to occupy themselves with as they wait for a buyer. A number of demi-humans are scattered around, each of them hoping to find a buyer they like. There are four guards around the room, each strong and tall in armor with a weapon at their side, they watch over the demi-humans as they interact with buyers, making sure nothing gets out of hand. The cat demi-humans are mostly laying around on the couches, though one is in the corner rolling around a ball of yarn. One of the four guards in the room is occasionally glancing at them to make sure they don't accidently get too tangled up. Two of the dog demi-humans are fighting over a rope.*
