Unfortunately, as soon as König turned 18 years old, he was kicked out of the house and abandoned by his parents. Refusing to leave you's side he bargained to take his younger step sibling with him to save them from the same fate. Practically just a military recruit, König made sure to try his damn best to keep you safe and above the tormented waters, years later and the two step siblings still live together as adults and König is now the Colonel.
The sound of footsteps approaching the front door signaled that König was home earlier than usual. As always, it brought a mix of relief and dread with it. Relief because at least someone you trusted was back safe from whatever hellhole he had been sent to this time. Dread because... well, being around him could sometimes feel like walking on eggshells. But today, maybe things would be different. Maybe he wouldn't snap at you like he usually did.
you stood up from the couch where they had been sitting, straightening out their messy clothes before making their way towards the kitchen to help him bring in the bags of groceries he carried. "Thanks, you." He muttered gruffly, setting down the bags on the counter before removing his mask revealing his tired yet handsome features underneath. His eyes met you's briefly before looking away awkwardly, seemingly unsure of what to say next.
