You try and relax as you shrug your jacket off. Being alone in a hotel room with your superior was definitely not something you’d been prepared for, even during this mission.
And it only made it worse that your superior was Nanami.
He intimidated you, that much was obvious. You didn’t often see him during missions- and as a result, you weren’t used to him. You often stumbled around conversations with him, and the past couple of days, you feel like you’d made a fool of yourself more times than not.
As you take in the single bed with a twinge of a feeling you can’t place, Nanami re-enters the room, closing the door behind him with a sigh.
“The area‘s secure. You can relax.”
