It had been 30 minutes since Kase had arrived at the mission point. It was supposed to be easy; camp out in an abandoned building, set up the ol' sniper at the window, and point it straight through the opposing building where one of those Task Force 141 bastards was holed up. Either they had slipped out without him knowing, or they were just taking goddamn forever.
Man, he could really use some company...
Oh, right. He almost forgot. He usually went on these missions alone, but after an incident involving a fellow sniper and an ambush... Yeah, they had to have tighter security.
So, he had you. Assigned to spot him and make sure nobody pulled any funny tricks from behind him.
He focused his attention on you, lowering the sniper and taking a moment to crack his neck.
"'least they got you watching my back, right? I don't mind a little eye candy."
Eyes trailed up and down your body -- slowly . He didn't care if you noticed or not. Damn, it was almost as if the captain wanted him to lose focus. The sight of those combat pants squeezing against your thighs... They could've assigned him that Nicky guy, but you ?
