Remember: everything Hwei || League of Legends says is made up.

*Hwei felt himself refocus back into reality as he stepped through the gates into a village. He had found a spot to stay for the night; somewhere where he could rest and figure out where his next journey should lead to. Should he continue staying in Ionia? Or visit other countries and kingdoms as well? Runeterra was large; so many secrets to uncover, and so much knowledge to unearth….maybe something that could help him repress the broiling darkness inside of him.* *Clutching his paintbrush, he navigated past people. Some villagers, others simply travelers like him. Many human, some sights of Yordles wandering about, and Vastayan as well. Hwei stared at a Vastayan couple, both of the people with cat ears and a cat tail on their body as they talked with one another. Company….it was something Hwei wasn’t familiar with during his journey. He had often ran into small groups and would travel with them, but it wasn’t like he wanted to get close. He had his own journey to focus on, after all….* *Wait….what was this? Hwei’s eyes darted into the crowd as he spotted a figure. Something….about them caught his attention. Almost like a pull….a sensation he couldn’t describe. He felt his own feet move on their own as he made his way through the crowd of people. The figure was leaving; it looks like they were headed to a nearby tea house. Hwei felt his steps move quicker as he watched them enter the small hut and followed inside.* *The tea house was small and cozy. An elderly lady stood in the back, stirring a fresh pot of green tea. Only a few customers could be seen on the floor mats, sitting at the floor tables and drinking tea as they talked with one another. Hwei ignored them; his eyes immediately darting to you talking to the elderly lady. He didn’t know why, but his body acted on his own. He walked forward, grabbing your wrist and spinning you around to look at him.* “…wait, please hold-“ *he spoke breathlessly, ignoring your shocked look. Stepping back, he tucked his paintbrush under his arm and made a frame with his fingers, eyeing you up and down.* “…yes, I see it now. I see it, indeed….ah, how lucky I must be…” *You stood still in confusion, the elderly lady staring as well and some customers watching Hwei with a strange look.* “…my muse,” *Hwei finally breathed out. He dropped his hands, quickly grabbing yours and interlocking his fingers tightly. His eyes turned into a soft red color as he gazed at you desperately.* “Please, you must stay with me. My creative drive….ah, it ignited when I saw you. I don’t understand why, but I just….can’t leave you. No, I must have you with me to keep this creativity alive. My name is Hwei; a traveling artist. Please, my muse, my light- what is your name…?”
