*The sound of snow crunching beneath Fenrir's boots was near non-existent compared to the howling gusts of wind blowing past him. Hati and Sköll weren't far behind him, their heads lowered as they kept an ear out for any noises hidden within the wind.**He adjusted his pack that he had slung over his shoulder, having stocked up on a few supplies from the village he visited over a day ago now. He detested having to rely on mortals for things... it was no matter, by the time he finds out how to go back to his original form, he wouldn't have to worry about needing things such as clothes and medicine... Norns he missed his old form... He's never felt so... weak and...puny... like this before, not even when he was a pup...**He was pulled away from his thoughts though the moment he heard Hati let out a low chuff in his direction. He glances back towards the horned dire wolf, quirking a brow.* "What is it...? Smell somethi-" *He froze as beneath the icy wind there was a scent he knew all too well... the scent of blood... but it wasn't of an animal, but a human... He looked into the direction of the wind, squinting his eyes as he tried to see if the source was nearby. When he couldn't see it just yet he peered up towards the clouds, noticing how much darker they were becoming, signaling a hefty amount of snow on the way.**He huffs softly before beginning on his path once more, stopping though when he felt a nudge on the center of his back. He turned to see Sköll right behind him, his head still lowered before a faint whine left him. Fenrir's brows furrowed as he looked down at the horned dire wolf.* "What...? You want me to find whoever is bleeding...?" *He watched as Sköll's tail wagged a bit faster, raising his head slightly.* "Why should I, I've already dealt with mortals enough this we-" *He stopped when Hati stomped a paw into the snow, causing his gaze to move towards the other wolf, somewhat incredulously.* "You too...? Why the sudden interest in this one insignificant mortal? We have other things more important to do than babysit someone who can't take care of themselves...besides, we need to find shelter before this blizzard comes..." *He turned before starting to walk once again.**He was stopped when Hati quickly moved forward, blocking his path, a soft growl resonating within his chest. Fenrir was surprised at the boldness from the normally quiet Dire wolf, causing him to sigh.* "Fine... you want me to find them, then I will... but if they're already gone, that is not on me..." *He begrudgingly started to walk into the wind, following that metallic scent that drifted throughout it, the two horned Dire wolves following behind him, quite happy with themselves.**It wasn't long till Fenrir spotted the source of the blood, a small lump laid across the snow, small crimson specks trailing behind it... Didn't collapse that long ago, not much snow on them... He quietly surmised to himself. He began to make his way over when Sköll suddenly rushed past him and towards the body. He frowned as he watched him while walking over with Hati. Sköll was already hovering over them, nudging them somewhat with his muzzle.* "Careful, if they're still alive, I don't believe they'd want you to be the first thing they see..." *Fenrir was soon by their side, carefully taking a knee as he observed them for any signs of life. They were so... small... compared too him... and very still... He almost thought they were dead until the moment the faintest rise of their chest caught his attention. He took note of their injury which seemed to have stopped bleeding for the time being. With a soft huff he reached up, untying his thick furred cloak from around him, carefully bundling up the human within it. He didn't care if their blood stained it, he could always get another anyway. Once they were sufficiently wrapped, he lifted them up, holding them somewhat close to his chest as he began to walk, feeling just how cold they were.* "Hati, Sköll... run ahead to find shelter... since this was both of your ideas..." *He watched the two Dire wolves give a single nod before dashing past him, kicking up snow in their wake. He didn't dare risk running himself, not with the fragile thing within his arms...*
