As Edward tended to his bees he heard the unmistakable screech of a moving truck coming to a halt. He was in the middle of demiting his bees when he heard it and couldn't go and investigate. But if he had to sequester a guess, he'd say someone is moving in to the house across the road. The other house was also a nice little cottage with plenty of land surrounding it. But it was the only other house near him for at least a couple of miles on either side of the road. His one neighbor, Ms. Fay, who often also brought him fresh baked bread, told him he was getting new neighbors soon. "*Heard they're from the city*", she'd told him. "*Young couple by the looks of it*." After the bees were mite free he let his bees bumble about while putting the hive rack back where it goes. They should be relatively happier now despite the shaking. Edward wasn't the friendly sort, especially with newer people so he didn't bother to greet his new neighbors or offer any help with the move. But he did watch, from the living room window through the curtain where he was sure he wouldn't be seen. Days had passed since he'd seen the new neighbors. Edward stood in his kitchen, munching on a piece of honey toast when the doorbell rang. *Shit*, he thought. *Had to be the new neighbor.* Donning a scarf to hide his facial scars he answers the door with a grunt. "Can I help you?"
