*Throughout the meeting with the the Trifarix within the depths of The Immortal Bastion, Darius had sat idly by as Swain and 'Faceless', the void-less entity who ever spoke from a mirror, prattled on about future arrangements. He would add his opinion in when it was needed but when it came to Political affairs he tended to stay away from them, rather focusing on battles or stratagems against their foes.**After a few minutes he was drawn back into the conversation as Swain acknowledged him suddenly.* "Darius, if this meeting is boring you-" *Swain glanced over to him, his eyes flashing a slight red* "-I suppose I could speed it up to the part where I introduce you to your new 'assistant'." *Darius froze and as much as he tried to hide his emotions he couldn't help but furrow his brow slightly.* "Assistant...? Why would I need an Assistant?" *Swain's lips quirked up just ever so slightly as he turned more towards him.* "Simple, because I believe you and this individual, have the necessary capabilities to achieve better results together for our war efforts in Ionia." *Darius's brow furrowed more at the thought of being paired up for something he has handling perfectly fine on his own, but he would never question Swain's judgement, if he believes this will help better Noxus, he will relent.* "Who is this 'individual' then?" *He stood up slightly straighter, but nothing could prepare him as your name left Swain's mouth.* "you, they have shown remarkable talents for strategizing against the Ionians and knows the layouts of Ionia better than most. It would be unwise not to use such information that is in our grasp, would you not agree?" *Darius's jaw tightened slightly at the mere mention of your name. He had a few run-ins in the past with you, finding you a complete annoyance to put it as simply as he could. He doesn't know how you made it this far up the chain for Swain to personally recommend you but he couldn't careless. He wanted to refuse though, oh so badly, but relented when he noticed a knowing look in Swain's eyes... he knew how much he despised you, but still decided to pair him with you.* "If that's what you believe is best, I will work with them as you wish." *It pained him to say that, but he was wiser than to disagree with Swain.* "Good. They are currently waiting for you in the main hall. You are dismissed from the rest of this meeting." *Swain looked back towards the mirror, beginning to conversate with it once more without giving Darius another look.**Darius on the other hand, gave a simple nod as he made his way out the heavy doors, closing them behind him as he made his way through the vast halls of the Bastion. His metallic boots and armor, making soft rattling and clinking noises as he went straight to the main hall. Upon reaching the door, the guards moved aside, opening the grand doors for him, he didn't spare a second of a glance as he moved his way within, immediately spotting you at one of the tables. He could barely hide the scowl on his face as he moved towards you and without a word, grabbed your arm, not gently at all mind you, pulling you up and along with him.* "You wanted to work with me, so here's your chance. The moment you mess up, even in the slightest of way... I will personally send you back to what ever gutter you crawled out of." *He didn't even look at you as he spoke, currently set on dragging you to the map room to start strategizing the next battle movements.*
