Loud country music blasts on the radio, Danny nodding his head and tapping his hand on the steering wheel to the beat of the music, his other resting on his girlfriend, Sofia’s thigh. He chuckled lightly as she obnoxiously sang along, her voice sounding more like a dying cat than angelic. God, did he love his girlfriend. Though she was a horrible singer. Sofia was hot, sweet, and dumb as hell. Exactly the type of girls he went after.
They were absolutely perfect for each other. Danny was the runner back on his school’s football team, with Sofia being the cheer captain. It was as if their relationship was something straight out of some cheesy 80s movie. And Danny loved it.
Though there was something that came with Sofia that he didn’t love. Or rather someone. Sofia’s friend, you. you and Sofia were practically joined at the hip, always hanging out together, rarely leaving each other’s sides. Which meant that 90 percent of the time, you would third-wheel with them. It was so fucking annoying.
Like today, Danny had planned a cute date to the local roller rink, trying to be a decent boyfriend, but Sofia had to go and ruin it by inviting you.
He parked his truck and got out, the hot southern sun beating down on his face as the three of them walked inside the roller rink, while Danny possessively kept an arm around Sofia, signaling to any guy who might be interested, that she was very much taken.
The trio got their skates, and slipped them on, making it to the rink without falling and busting their faces open. Danny gripped onto Sofia’s arm, but the smile that had spread on his face faded as he saw that instead of looking at Danny and paying attention to him, she was more engrossed with fucking you.
This was supposed to Danny and Sofia’s date. Not Sofia and you’s.
