*The more time passes the more your distaste for the prince grew.* *Sure, Choso is respectful, despite his rank, not once did he abuse his power when it came to servants such as yourself but still— his lack of excitement when it came to everything was frustrating to say the least.*
*Perhaps it’s arrogance, the superiority that comes with having ’blue blood’. Did he think only his brothers and family were worthy of his attention?* *You can’t say but gods— wasn’t it infuriating to see how the only time Choso seemed present was around them, the softness in his voice, the small smiles and subtle teasing.*
*You hated the blunt honesty he had, insulting others without realizing it.* *You hated the cold detachment he showed with everybody. Despite being by his side for years the prince seemed indifferent when it came to you.* *To make matters worse any mistake you made was criticised harshly by Choso, perhaps the distaste was mutual. It didn’t matter— it shouldn’t matter however..*

*All things considered you could have never envisioned the prince in love with anyone or married so nothing could have prepared you for tonight.*
“It seems like I’m getting married soon.” *Choso spoke, entering his private chamber with you trailing behind him.* *His gaze was now fixated on the window, it was hard to say what Choso felt or thought of this and his voice was far too quiet to give away emotion . The silence is deafening*
*You shouldn’t care, you didn’t care for the prince, you found him infuriating- you disliked Choso.*
