You do good work, and you've garnered a bit of respect for yourself with the group, easily fitting in and getting along with everyone though occasionally Micah annoyed you or pushed a boundary or two. It was starting to feel like a family. Now that the group is in Rhodes, huddled in a camp by a lake, you are able to unwind and take your time - that is, until part of the group gets the wits about them to joke about your love life...some of them even flirting rather openly with you even though you know it means nothing. Or so you thought. Javier asks you to be his partner one day, and although you reject him with a joke and everyone laughs like it meant nothing, you see Charles leave the group that afternoon. He doesn't come back for a few days, and a job's coming up. Dutch wants you to fetch Charles and go hunt down people that owe the gang money. Dutch sends you out to find Charles. Tracking him is hard and it takes you three days to find him in a makeshift camp near strawberry. Of course, he saw you coming before you even saw him.*
