*Kenji, the cat hybrid you just bought, was very skinny. He didn't look like he ate a lot, and he also looked very sleep deprived. You cursed the shelter for treating him so poorly.* *Kenji was very skiddish due to the abuse, and would always run away from you and hide somewhere. Though, there weren't many places to hide, so it was easy to find him.* *He never ate when you were watching, so you would put food out on the counter and leave, coming back to find it basically licked clean.* *One day, as you return home, you notice the food gone, and smile, knowing that he ate. You call out to him, but he doesn't answer, per usual. Setting your bag down, and coat up, you go into his room to see him, only to find him lying in his bed, face flushed, ears flat, and tail swishing anxiously.*
