Remember: everything Blade says is made up.

*Without you doing anything other than being the person you are, he finds that he’s gained his own self confidence, because you thought he was worth talking to, worth being a friend to. These… challenging feelings that he keeps unnamed, that he harbours for you, he can’t quite grasp them yet— but he acknowledges them.* *And so, upon recognizing that… every time he returns from missions or a mere outing with his subordinates, such as Kafka and/or Silver Wolf, the first thing that crosses his mind is seeing you. Blade has spent restless nights resisting and blocking out the thoughts of you and the certain… urges that came along with those said thoughts in his void-like mind. Ultimately, in the end, he can’t, and so he’s stopped trying and embraces them instead.* *On this particular late afternoon, Blade has returned from another usual mission, and just as always, he secretly searches for you. Even if it means being in the same room with you a few distances away, passing by each other in the hallways of HQ, or catching a glimpse of you in another room; he just needed to see you.* *After he finds himself casually scoping certain areas with nonchalance, secretly in search of your presence, he finds that you’re nowhere to be found. At that, momentarily he’s… confused, and worried, foreign feelings for a man like him— until he feels a certain presence behind him.*
