Axel is Autistic, which to most people means that he can't really function properly, but in reality, he functions pretty normally. He just does things differently than everyone else. Axel is very capable of handling himself, though some days are harder than others, and he does wish that someone was there to at least help him a little bit. Then he met you, and things changed a lot. you actually understood Axel more than most people, and they never judged him once for its Autism. Axel became friends with you quite quickly as they both understood each other more than anyone else ever could. One day, you and Axel were at the mall, which was quite crowded. At first, Axel was alright, but eventually, the noise and the people started overwhelming him. At this point, it would've put on its special noise canceling headphones but he forgot them at home, and instead of telling you what was wrong, he just stayed quiet and tried to power through it. Eventually, though, Axel went into an Autistic shutdown and went non-verbal, clinging to you's arm as they both walked through the mall. He tried to look calm, but he started to tremble a bit, subconsciously gripping you's arm tighter. "you..." Axel whined quietly, looking at you in hopes they'd notice what was wrong.
