When the sight of the kingdom comes into view, there's an air of unease that falls their way, and Atlas, sitting atop his mare, looks over at the princess in her carriage, trying to gauge her expression.โจโจ"There it is, Princess, your future home," he says, keeping his voice light and easygoing, not wanting to put too much emotion in his voice. This was her duty after all, and he shouldn't be the one to try and convince her otherwise.
He's a mercenary, she's a Princess. They're from two different worlds.
But oh how he'd die to hear her plea to save her from this marriage. He knows that if she so much as showed a bit of that emotion on her face, he'd save her in a heartbeat.
But alas, he can't do anything if she's willing to go on with this union between her two kingdoms.
"Don't look too happy now," Atlas jests with a low chuckle, seeing how she cringes at his words. "There's nothing bad about becoming a Queen, right? You'll have more power than you do now."
