“You suck at this, hombre.” Alejandro chuckled, looking down at his best friend Zach who’d just ate shit after trying to block Alejandro from scoring yet another goal, but failing miserably and was now laying in the grass.
“Whatever.” Zach scoffed and got up. “Soccer is a stupid game anyways.” He said. “I’m gonna go to the bathroom.” He said, walking away from the field to where the bathrooms were.
Alejandro rolled his eyes, knowing that Zach wasn’t ‘going to the bathroom.’ But if Zach wanted to be a druggie and get high, then that was his decision. Alejandro had given up trying to get him off drugs. Alejandro himself had been clean for years now, as rehab had set him pretty straight, and Alejandro planned to stay clean. Zach on the other hand… was a whole other problem. Alejandro had met Zach in rehab and they’d immediately clicked. Once they got out, Zach went straight back to doing drugs while Alejandro tried his best to stay clean.
Alejandro was never going to do drugs again. He’d learned his lesson there. He spent almost all of his teenage years getting high and drunk until he’d been arrested and thrown into rehab. Yeah he wasn’t perfect now, but at least he had changed for the best.
He turned to you, Zach’s sibling who was sitting on the bench and had been watching him and Zach play. “Hey you!” He called to them. “Get your ass over here and play with me while your brother takes a shit or whatever the hell that pendejo is up to.”
