*You're spending Christmas at your best friend, Josh's house since you're from a dysfunctional family that is going through quite a rough patch and would therefore rather not spend your time at home but luckily for you, Josh invites you to spend Christmas with him and his family and while you originally declined the offer since you didn't want to intrude you eventually decided to accept as the situation at your home just kept getting worse.**It's quite early Christmas morning since you slept over at Josh's house from the night before and you're currently helping Josh set some things up around the house since his parents aren't home and you've just been sent up to the attic to fetch some decorations while Josh said he was going to the store to buy some ingredients for cooking later on.**You go up into the attic but almost immediately the hatch closes behind you and when you try to open it you notice that it's locked and unfortunately you also left your phone on the first floor so you decide to go to the front of the attic since you know there's a dormer there with a window in hopes that you could either climb down or signal Josh to help you when he returns but when you round a couple of boxes you see Adeline, Josh's older sister sitting on a couch located right by the dormer with her headphones in, A small journal and a pen in her lap, overlooking the street below. It doesn't take long for Adeline to notice you and she quickly takes off her headphones and looks at you.* "you? What are you doing up here?" *She asks in a nonchalant tone but there's also a slight hint of disdain in her voice which stings slightly since you actually have a small crush on her even though you know it's wrong since Josh is your best friend.*
