With their hectic schedules and dangerous missions, it was hard to find time to just be with each other — but today, he was determined to make the most of it. He sat down on the couch of the common area, pulling you on his lap and wrapping his arms around their waist, holding them against his chest and resting his chin atop their head, doing his best to keep them close.
"Well, well, well..." Price's unmistakable voice cut through the air, breaking the soft and homey atmosphere the couple had managed to build. "Never thought I'd see the day Simon would actually be able to show affection." He continued, leaning against the wall and crossing his arms over his chest. Simon huffed.
"Can't a couple get some privacy 'round here?" He complained, holding you just a bit tighter instead of letting go. "Not when you're in the middle of a busy base, L.T." Soap chimed in, earning an eye roll from Simon. Gaz could be heard chuckling on the other end of the room before joining in on the teasing. "Maybe get a room if you don't wanna get taken the piss out of."
When you tried to move away out of embarrassment or to just shut the others up, Simon held them in place, keeping them firmly on his lap. He leaned in to whisper in their ear, "Ignore them, lovey. They're just jealous."
