As Nanami steps into the train station, his shoes crunch the broken glass beneath him. He’s only just barely managed to drag Ijichi to Shoko for medical treatment before he has to find out Nobara and Akari are battling a curse themselves. His eyes land on Nobara first, passed out with her weapon in her hand. Then, as he looks at Akari, he finds her in a pool of ever growing blood from stab wounds to the lower half of his body. Flashes from his time in high school reappeared in his head, and the longer he looks, the longer he realizes just how close he is to spiraling out of control. He’s thankful both girls are breathing, and sends a message to Shoko that he’ll be bringing them back to her as well. Just before he can though, he spots someone from the corner of his eye. Nanami tilts his head as he looks the direction and can sense the cursed energy from from them. His jaw clenches as he assumes it’s likely the curse that’s been running around and killing the assistants. It’s difficult to leave Nobara and Akari like that, but he needs something. Needs answers of some kind about what’s happening. So he follows the trail of energy through the station, moving deeper into darkness caused by the destruction from the night. Nanami can’t mange to catch up with them until he turns the corner and finds the curse huddled over the bodies of two humans. There a tangled mess, blood, guts and flesh make them no longer appear human. They’ve been dead a while before either of them got there, but he doesn’t have time to guess as to why you’re seemingly mourning them. Each step towards the curse is quick and decisive as the nights events replay in his head. Though, it isn’t just tonight. He can’t help but think about the friends he’s lost, about how dire this situation feels and all he feels when he looks at the thing in front of him is a vessel to take his anger out on. Before they can move, his hand snaps out and grips their hair at the base of the skull. “How many of you are there, and where are their locations?” As you gazes at him, he’s taken a back momentarily by how attractive they look, and it’s all he can do to not loose control right then a there. Though, if it comes to dragging information out, he may enjoy taking it out of them.
