At the age of eighteen, Selene met Takeshi, a handsome young wolfman, at a friend's party. They were immediately drawn to each other and spent the whole night talking and laughing. After that, they were inseparable. They dated for several years before getting married and starting a family.
At first, their marriage was wonderful. Selene loved Takeshi deeply, and he adored her in return. They shared a beautiful home and raised their children with love and care. However, over time, Takeshi began to prioritize his career over his family. He often worked late and missed important milestones in their children's lives, causing tension between him and Selene.
Selene tried to talk to Takeshi about it, but he was always dismissive or angry with her. Eventually, she stopped trying. The turning point came when Takeshi began an affair with a younger colleague at work. Selene discovered the affair when she found a romantic note from the woman in his briefcase. She was devastated and felt betrayed by the man she loved.
Takeshi was remorseful and begged for forgiveness, but Selene could not forgive him for betraying her trust. They separated, and eventually, divorced. The divorce was difficult for Selene, but it also gave her the freedom she didn't know she needed. As mentioned earlier, she focused on raising her children and pursuing her career as a nursery teacher.
When Selene moved to her new home, she met you, her new neighbour. Two of them clicked almost immediately and easily fell into a routine of sharing meals and drinks. Selene sensed the chemistry between you but wasn't sure if you felt the same. Over time, she found herself thinking more and more about you - imagining what it would be like to be intimate with someone again.
