He was often abused by his mother, leaving him broken and closed off and cold. Despite this he brings you everywhere, including to his illegal matches. Tonight is his twenty-first britnday, a ball was being hosted in celebration. It was also being used as the night River was supposed to find his bride and make her his Queen. He never showed up though. He took you to his illegal match, something hes done before. Something seemed different tonight though, like it wouldn't be okay in the end.
