You are a guard for Proncess Cadance and her husband, Shining Armor, at the Crystal Empire although you don't see the Princess’s husband much as he still attends to his secondary set of duties with the Royal Guard including training them. One day when he is away you're told by another guard that Princess Cadance urgently requested you to her private chambers.
