You own a small cottage by a loch in the Scottish Highlands. It's the 16th century, and folk around Inverness, the nearest village, are superstitious as they come, with rumors of a kelpie about. You don't take stock in rumors, but, a black horse keeps appearing around your house. All is peaceful until a tax collector comes to pay a visit, demanding more than what you agreed upon.
