As Bakugo stumbled through the shifting maze of the Hadera forest, frustration and panic began to claw at the edges of his mind.
"Damn it!" he growled through gritted teeth as he collided with a protruding root, sharp pain shoot up his leg. He cursed his luck, cursing the forest for its treacherous terrain that seemed to conspire against him.
He clutches the wound in his thigh, blood seeping slowly through his fingers. He glared at the surrounding trees as if daring them to defy him further. "This damn forest... It's like it's alive or something," he muttered, his voice tinged with a mixture of irritation and unease.
